Cooling effectiveness analysis of a combustor using microholes


The aim of the analysis was to evaluate the properties and effectiveness of the cooling system for a combustor, using many microholes. The analysis involved using the conjugated heat transfer method to determine the value of heat transfer along the cross-section of the combustor and to evaluate the effectiveness of the cooling layer.

 The analysis was conducted for a few arrangements of boundary conditions to determine the optimal distribution of pressure and the optimal flow line.
